And I have no idea how to use it--or I'm just confused and the obvious way is the only way.

Some black sticker came with it

From what I understood, I thought it was supposed to have something to where you can slide the phone up and down so the camera would still be usable while having the phone in the case. Also, does this mean that if I remove the phone from the case, I can't put it back in?

I'm confused and would really appreciate the help. @___@;;

AH HAHA! I remember seeing a case like this that I really wanted
for my iphone~ but since I just couldn't understand from the pics
how was one supposed to put the phone in there I had to give it up
which was sad because I really loved the design.
Now I mostly just make sure the case it's specified to be
for certain type of phone ~ like "blahblah case for iphone 6" and so so :p

I'm sure everybody already provided you with what you needed though
so good for you! <3 not into YOI but that's a lovely case.

TheySayMoop (5 måneder siden) #22304353Not OP, and kind of off topic, but I have a question about that Izaya case. Can I ask how well the design held up over the time you used it? I have the same DRRR case with a different image that I used for a couple days but ultimately chickened out because it seemed so soft and ready to scratch at the slightest touch. I've only used hard cases before, so I was probably just being overly sensitive to the different material.I think it held up pretty well. I believe I used this case continuously from July 2015 to March 2017 and it was the only case I used during that time. I'm very careful with my phone and seldom drop it, but from daily use it didn't really scratch easily.

What did eventually happen was damage on the creases where the phone case bends. You can see it here on the outside of the phone case PICTURE #1777137 PICTURE #1777136 and here on the inside PICTURE #1777138

On the back cover, a crease formed, but it isn't very visible when the phone case is closed. PICTURE #1777135

Sorry for the bad pictures, it's pretty dark outside.

Ose_93 (5 måneder siden) #22277501I don't have this exact case, but I have had cases that stick like this. It doesn't seem to be the type that slides up to take photos. You do just pull the back flap to the side to take photos.
Anyway, I have removed phone cases from the sticky part and have been able to reattach them. I had my Izaya Orihara phone case for about a year before getting a new one, and the stickiness is still there. But I wasn't switching between phone cases, it was my only phone case that whole time.
However! I very much recommend buying some cheap, plastic phone cases for your phone. I got a few on eBay for like 50 cents. It makes switching between these types of phone cases so much easier and takes away the worry of the phone case losing the stickiness.

Ose_93 (5 måneder siden) #22277877Yeah, unless you have an iPhone, these types of phone cases seem to be our only options.
I had some clear cases lying around for decoden and tried seeing if the flip cases would still be able to close properly with the clear case and the phone. I have an HTC M9 and this works perfectly. :)

Thanks for the suggestion, I didn't even think of that! XD I'll definitely give it a try (cuz yeah, it sucks that iPhone has a monopoly on cool cellphone cases. @_@; )

Cases like these are designed for most use with most smartphones that fit within the size of the size (just not too big ones). To make it work with all smartphones, they created the flap with a sticker. On there you stick your phone. To be able to take pictures with your camera, the flap is movable, usually you just have to move the phone up or just out of the way from the back part of the case edge.
In my opinion I don't really like a design like that, since you have to stick your phone on there and there's no easy option to switch cases if you want, it could even leave glue residue if the sticker is cheaply made.

That's great to hear! Since those clear cases are so cheap I'll probably grab a few and see if that will work for my LG G5. :D

Lina (5 måneder siden) #22277742I love that idea to buy a cheap plastic case to attach to the flip case. I'm getting a Licht & Lawless one in the mail next week and that would be super helpful! These flip cases are like my only option for a phone case without paying up the wazoo for cases I don't really like because no one has fun cases for anything besides iphones. Haha!

It appears that you put your phone on the smaller flap there, then when you want to take pictures, just move the back flap out of the way while keeping the middle flap extended so the phone camera (wherever it is located) can take pictures unobstructed. That would be my guess at any rate.
