Dengeki G's Magazine September 2011 issue came with a Nendoroid Petite for Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko's eccentric yet lovable weirdo Touwa Erio and marks my first purchase of a figure for a character I knew nothing about.
So then what made me want to get her? Simple, I saw her baseball get up and had to have her. Sure and there've been figures here and there sporting a baseball bat, but none took it to the levels this one did where we not only get the bat and the ball, but a matching jersey and cap to boot. And with the customizability inherent to nendoroids, the possibilities of making any character play baseball seem rather infinite. At least, that's what I'm hoping for.
Thanks to Adachi Mitsuru's genius with Cross Game and other notable works, I found myself slowly and steadily becoming a yakyuu baka (野球バカ).
And here I am doing an unboxing and figure review for the first time. Read more here.
