Calendar QuestionsCalendar Questions

sarioussarious3 år sidenAsk MFC
So I just ordered the Kancolle 2015 calendar (ITEM #249553) for my first anime calendar and I have a few questions. My first question is do you normally write events on the calendar, or do you just have it for the artwork? Also, my other question is do you normally keep it up after the year ends for the artwork, or do you generally just switch it with a new one each year? Thanks.

Kibi (3 år siden) #2897811You can use the calendar again after a few years, because the exact constellation repeats after a certain period of time. The calendar of 2015 can be used in 2026, 2037 and 2043 too, for instance.

I will now store all my calenders and mark the dates "Open during 2026" etc.

Anime calendars are basically posters with numbers tacked onto the side or bottom of it- you really can't write anything on them like normal ones... Not sure WHY, but that's just how it goes.

The artwork on them are usually pretty good, so I keep them afterwards, some art might even get framed. The Kancolle one, for instance, has some fantastic art that I can't wait to display.

I don't really write anything on the calendar, but I just put some stickers for events on a specific day (I dunno if all have but my Miku calendar always comes with a set). And yes, I keep them for the artwork, they make really beautiful posters. I also buy a new one every year and switch em btw. :)

I'll use it for the calendar but mainly for the artwork.

Artwork.
Calendar = 7 or 13 nice big podsters) good for framing or hanging on the wall just like they are.

Its not really like a calender... More like a poster with dates on it.

It looks like this, kancolle.wikia....

I still like the posters though!

I specifically buy calendars just for the pictures. The ones I like, I frame as posters. Of course, it's always a bit of a gamble as to how many pictures I like enough to frame. With some it's almost every one, with others it might be just one.

I've gotten the Yotsubato! calendars the last few years (ITEM #231590, ITEM #166279, ITEM #124613) and save them afterwards, I don't really write in them though since any events are on my online calendar and phone.
I don't even mark off the days, so it's really just a decoration more than a utility.
I use a small white board for temporary reminders and task lists, but sticky notes could do the same job.

Yup same here. I have gently cut out many of the pictures I've liked from previous calendars and hung them up as a poster in my room. Good way to get more bang for your buck. :)
