Kommentarer Old Doujinishi?

  • I agree with selling them in lots, selling in lots by series or character or pairing could be a good idea if you have a lot of the same thing but to be honest even a bundle of random doujinshi should sell to curious people who like a surprise.

One thing to try is posting in the "Doujin Adoption" thread in MFC's own Doujinshi Club (and/or searching that thread to see if anyone is hunting doujins you want to get rid of) - club/845/discus...

Doujins can also be sold in MFC's Ads section if they have database entries.

Outside of MFC, some other anime-related communities have buy/sell/trade areas where doujinshi may be okay. You could also try a post on Tumblr or somewhere similar.

Carousel2 år siden#30581557If they're from popular series I sell them in large lots on Ebay. Otherwise, honestly, I've tossed more than a few. Especially ones from my "beginner" days where I'd buy basically anything of certain pairings, whether the contents were good or not.

Ahhh I remember those "good" old days lol. Better yet, I remember when I was a total newb and would get fleeced on Ebay for $30-60 a doujinshi yeeeears ago back before I figured my shit out and realized I could get 99.999% of what I wanted for 200-500yen on the Japanese doujinshi shops.

I'd probably sell them in bundles by series for a cheap price. Or give them away on LJ and just ask the recipient to pay for shipping.

That's actually what someone did for me once. I got a few of my InuKai doujinshi that way.

It'd be a hassle to sell individual ones and check them each for selling price. Auction probably is good for only the valuable ones.
Some ppl put entries and sell them on MFC and give a discount if you take multiple and check the value on request. (of course the buyer also knows this)
Anyways, I'm currently still collecting until my house is full. But I do keep track of how much I paid. Not all in MFC though.

    You could throw them away.

You could pile them into a huge bonfire and burn away the shame.

You could sneak them into a college library and slip them inside random books, giving future students a nice surprise for the next few decades.

You could carefully take the pages out and fold them into the largest erotic paper airplane collection in the world.

You could do what my friend did when I was in middle school, when he sold pages out of Playboy magazines for a quarter... oh wait. Kids have the internet now; they've seen worse and better. Never mind.

You could use them to repaper the mens' bathroom at the nearest homeless shelter. Giving back to the community, as it were.

You could use them as prizes at the old folks' home's next bingo game.

You could recycle them as wrapping paper for future gifts to others for birthdays and Christmas. That might take too long, though, depending on the size of your family.

You could wait until the next time you fly on a plane, wait until all the other passengers disembark, and stuff one into every seat pouch on the plane for the next set of passengers.

You could use them as the starting collateral for the next coin offering of a bitcoin splinter.

You could listen to someone else who might offer actual advise instead of making stupid suggestions like I do.
