    And thank you for mentioning my review!! ;-;
    I actually never managed to look under his coat before so those shots were... interesting, I'm glad you included them ahaha cough. I was surprised to see flaws like the lifepoint counter and glue on your copy though. But he still looks amazing at least!
    The flaws I found on mine were a few paint chips (despite being sealed) and the arm is VERY stiffly stuck down so I haven't managed to replace with the Duel Disk yet, I found this to be a common issue in copies of these figures that havent been opened though, I guess due to age.
    solluxcaptor2 år siden#36020560Since you brought attention to my article I realised all of the image links were broken ;; I've fixed it now and thanks for mentioning it regardless!

    Haha no problem! And I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures! I will start uploading them in full resolution shortly after I finish writing this reply to you~

    It's pretty hard to look under his coat and if my camera's lens would have only be a tiny bit bigger it wouldn't have fit to make a picture in that angle, lol!

    About the LP-counter, considering you said you bought him new/sealed, I wouldn't be surprised if after a while of displaying you get the same/similar defects. D: Mine also got worse over time. I sincerely hope not, though! But you are warned now...

    With my copy, his arm without duel disk can easily be removed, but it doesn't completely fit inside the arm slot, so there are some issues there, yeah...

    victorviper2 år siden#36015061And another Yu-Gi-Oh! review is complete :).
    I always like reading reviews of figures that I've never really looked at, since I can look at the figure and commentary totally objectively, and I found myself agreeing with a lot of your points, like the fact that the alternate arm without the Duel Disk is quite unnecessary. I also agree that this figure does give off a very 90's vibe with all the sharp angles in the design of his outfit.
    It's too bad the life meter seems to be a source of problems with this figure, but it wasn't too clear to me what's causing the "spread" of the black stuff. Is it ink from the decal that's somehow bleeding into the surrounding paint?
    As far as the blankness of the cards, have you ever entertained the idea of scanning some of his cards, and making some little mini-decals with which to customize them?

    It sure is! Maybe at some points I will have reviewed them all? Haha! I'm not specifically planning on doing so, but even with the high popularity of YGO, there do not seem to be a lot of reviews of these figures out there! So I'll probably do even more of them in the future.

    I actually don't really understand why an alternative arm is included here. With some of the figures in this line it makes sense, Jounouchi for example, can have a 'thumbs up' pose with it. But when they don't change the way the hands are posed, it's just confusing why they even offer such an alternative. If Kaiba's hand would have a fist or be posed more casually, it would have been 10x better.

    The spread of the black stuff is the black color of the decal becoming 'gooey' and bleeding onto the rest. It's a really strange thing, I've never had any other figures with this kind of decal bleeding.

    I have thought about that! But I am too scared to make changes to the actual cards on these figures and it would be very precise work as some cards are also overlapping with the way they are being held in the hand. So I think I would rather try some simple sculpt/cast of the cards myself and then apply mini decal (or just handpaint colors the cards have, no artwork) instead. :) It's on a backlogged list of things I want to do for my figures, haha!
