Hehe, now this one also comes very close in design to Little Red from the other blog. :) Ripple is not that expensive if you find her for sale, so I would say: go for it! Thanks for liking the reviews so much! Right now I am on an on average 2-a-week posting spree, which I think I can keep doing for 1 or 2 more months at least before real life kicks in again, haha! So yes, you can expect quite some more reviews in the upcoming time. :) Maybe you'll like the Hikari review I posed yesterday as well: BLOG #42671

solluxcaptor1 år siden#55965037Wow, this design, I love her!! I can't believe I've never seen this before, I want to get one and put her together with my ME-Tan~ I love the spandex look and your review is amazing and detailed as always

Yes! She will go very well with most of those OS-tans! Even quality-wise she will match with most, so she won't look out of place. :) It would have been nice if Koto had continued this set though~ The spandex is indeed great, it's super neat looking without making her oversexualized.

Thanks for liking the review! :D Glad to see you (shortly) back on MFC. :) If you end up getting this figure, I hope you will also get a good price!

victorviper1 år siden#55559036It's interesting that we had some similar observations about this figure, yet the two copies of the figure showed some very different quirks.
It was interesting to learn that there was in fact an actual PC with the name Ripple. My two minutes of Googling failed to turn up much, however, about this machine and I never knew such a thing existed. How did you learn about the existence of these machines?
Based on the "number" BLOG #17327 of my review, I must have started writing that over 4 years ago! A few days ago, when hardly any new blogs were appearing, I decided to "go into the vault" and finish up a couple of posts that were 95% written and that I'd just never gotten around to finishing up. It's funny that you decided to review Ripple right around the same time!
If you ever want to do a "2 player review" of a figure like Wayfinder and Beani did on BLOG #7882, let me know; that might be fun to do.

I guess you got the 'better' Ripple, although the headpiece sounds annoying, yours doesn't need any help to keep sitting in position. :( Anyhow, it's a good figure and we both got her for cheap so I'm still happy with my purchase. :)

I can't find in my search history what I exactly looked for, but I found older tech websites talking about 'new release mini desktop PC's', websites/pages similar to: www.geeky-gadge... . As for her Twitter and 'reboot' character design, I found out by researching the Japanese spelling of the name. :) Here is her Twitter by the way: twitter.com/rip... The 'newer' artwork is also very cute! I would like to find at least one of her CD's one day as it probably has a lot of never-before-seen artwork. :)

And wow! I did not realize the blog number got 'reserved' for you like that! And yeah it's really a coincidence, I am backlogged with reading reviews and just randomly saw your Ripple review on the homepage and thought 'huh...seems like Victor beat me to it', as we talked about reviewing her before, haha!

Do you by the way have any idea why some days seem to be slower days on MFC? I think it's mainly Tuesdays and I have no clue if there is some kind of connection with anything else happening on the internet or figure-collecting-wise?

And oh! :O That definitely sounds fun! It's been a long time since I saw such a review so I never thought of it! I checked your collection for figures we both have, but both didn't write a review for and:
    1) I got ITEM #323991 a couple of days ago as a lucky find at a convention, so I could unbox/photograph her. :)
    2) ITEM #99565 is on my pile of 'should unbox/review' so I could move her to the front of my photography/review queue. ;)
    3) I still would like to write a review of ITEM #152 , but she is tucked away in storage right now, so probably not the best choice.

I guess the best way to do such a thing is both making our own pictures and then messaging eachother to write up a review?

Anyway, feel free to move over to PM so we can discuss this further, I'm really excited about the idea and right now I have more free time than I will have in a couple of weeks. ;)
