It's Christmas night here, and we'll be celebrating it more at the 27th or the 28th due to family members not being available just yet. That means I have time for finally making an update article on my whole figure collection. I even got a better phone camera since. From a Lenovo P2 to a Samsung Galaxy S10+. Say what you want about how the S10+'s camera pales in comparison to other flagships, but the jump was definitely worth it for me!

As of this article, I've been collecting scale figures since exactly 1 year, 4 months and 22 days. Here's the whole thing.

https://static.myfigurecollection.net/upload/pictures/2019/11/24/thumbnails/2337433.jpeg https://static.myfigurecollection.net/upload/pictures/2019/11/24/thumbnails/2337442.jpeg

The collection grew quite a bit since the other article I made. Last time, I went with each figure individually, but this time, I'll go by groups, and then with the final table which supports a much, much bigger figure than the rest. I'll also be using spoiler tags this time to hide some stuff. Let's start with the top left of the shelves.

The Miku on the left was the final push to make me start collecting figures! I had her preordered since about the time I started collecting, back in August 2018, and then it got a delay from December 2018 to May 2019... It even turned out a bit less colorful than its prototype, but still, it looks great, and I'm glad I finally got her!

The other Miku, as I said before on my other article and even on my profile, is my collection's inaugural figure, obtained for a decent price at a convention, and yeah, while they tend to overcharge everything at conventions, that one had a good price. Still looks very pretty after all this time!

My first 1/6 scales.

I came accross the red one on MFC pictures, and damn, it was love at first sight! Everything about her looked so god damn wonderful to me! That was the first time I ended up watching an anime to know more about a character. She's called Yuigahama Yui and she's from an anime I'm gonna call Oregairu, which ended up very cute and relaxing overall, and even quite funny at times. Can't wait for season 3!

Then, I found out about the purple one. She's Yukinoshita Yukino. While watching the anime, she made me realize I had a weakness for smooth af voices like hers. I ended up preferring her in the end! She's my best girl! Buying that figure was my first experience buying on MFC, as someone had her brand-new-in-box for a great price, and it all went smoothly! I think I prefer that figure as well due to the pure elegance that comes from a kimono suiting Yukino more.

Nonetheless, these are my #2 and #3 favorite figures of my collection so far. I can't wait to see what they're gonna do with Iroha and I also can't wait to receive my kimono Kasane Teto which might end up taking #2 depending on how she turns out from my own eyes directly to the figure.

My Evangelion stuff. Both being 2019 rereleases.

This Asuka is my favorite Asuka! Not only that figure is her depiction at 28 years old, but those clothings look the best on her! My first Alter figure, but definitely not my last!

Then we have Misato, my best girl from Eva! She definitely looks like a 2009 figure, like, the figure's age shows even tho it was freshly made. Still looks good tho!

Misc girls at the bottom of the left shelf.

Kizuna Ai, on the left, is still one of my favorite figures! That's even if I stopped watching her on YouTube just like that (I still like her tho).

Sakurajima Mai, on the center, looks okay. I mean, her best figure by far happens to be a garage kit, and I'm sadly not getting into these. The one I have is one of the best you can just buy, but I'm still a bit bitter about the lack of truly great ones.

Kurisu, on the right, is probably still my least favorite from what I own so far. No worries tho, I don't hate that figure, far from it! She just seems to pale a bit from the rest, with her very pale skin tone and overall small size for a 1/8.

We're up to the other shelf! I had to put that Sonic statue elsewhere due to lack of space on a single shelf, but now he can fit again with the rest! He still has paint damage from my attempt at cleaning it though.

I'll never give up one of my favorite underrated waifu, Katou Marika from Mouretsu Pirates! Still one of the best designed characters I've seen so far in anime, and still two amazing figures!

The My Hero Academia gang is here! Kotobukiya has been doing an amazing job creating their series of MHA characters. I can't wait to see their upcoming All Might, as he's my favorite character! I'm still thinking of whether I'll stop at All Might or get more, but I'll see with time. My favorite is Bakugo.

Misc dudes at the bottom.

I've seen an ad on MFC for a good price on the limited edition of the Edward Elric (center) one and was kinda bummed I couldn't find one before. But hey, life sucks sometimes and I still have something good here!

Nothing much to say about the two other ones. Joker (left) and Kamina (right) still look great!

Ho... ly... shit! I still can't believe I have this one! I had to buy a table just for him! He happens to be in my living room, where I spend the most of my time, while the rest is in my bedroom. Everything I wrote in an article I made just for that statue is still true! My #1 in my collection!

Well, that's it. I'll definitely keep collecting in 2020. I'm still actively saving money and ordering new stuff to come! Hope you enjoyed my article! Feel free to say anything to me, even insults, in the comments section, and I'll be taking looks and reply to some. Thanks!

Thanks! It’s certainly not as fancy as yours but I still love him, one of my favorite characters from one of my favorite manga. ^^

Nice collection, I enjoyed seeing all the pictures. :). And that Kenshiro is HUGE, and an awesome looking figure. I've never seen FOTNS (I was never interested in it), but I know a good figure when I see one. That figure seems to be well worth whatever he cost you :)

Regarding the Mai scale, I totally agree with you. I had that scale at one point, and I sold it because it's tiny and I sadly needed the money (I did like it when I had it, though). This is the only good Mai that shows her in her uniform that isn't a GK, sadly. (I'm not super into bunny scales, but I liked the anime and Mai. It's frustrating, but I understand where figure companies are coming from. But it doesn't make it better on me, when I absolutely don't want a bunny scale). I wish there was a better one out there, but there doesn't seem to be. :(. This one looks promising, though ITEM #928908

How do you feel about ITEM #676272 and ITEM #769188? Both look pretty cute. I like how they did the tights on the second one.

I had considered the FREEing figure first, but then I thought I wasn't ready yet for a 1/4 and her face was a bit off compared to the 2nd one, which looks honestly like the other best one you could just buy.

BHEITHIR7 måneder siden#72717392Nice collection and space you got there! She been trough delays but it's worth to wait, don't you think?

I was a bit disappointed by the lack of colors compared to the prototype first, but it grew on me quite quickly. It's a nice figure!

Merry Christmas and I love the photos of your figures :D
I only currently have one Detolf and have long run out of display space, so most of my figures are stored in their boxes now. It's very nice seeing other collectors having all their figures up.
