Hello everyone~

I want to pre-order both Sora ITEM #115854 and Riku ITEM #115855, but since they're both kinda expensive, I wanted to get them as cheap as possible. Normally, I would go for Amiami in this case, but since both figures are over 5000 yen, it would be risky for me to order them at either: Amiami, Hobbysearch, HLJ, CDjapan or any other of the usual first choices of shops. It's sadly because I live in Europe, and the custom fees are really high here. If I order them from amiami, I'd have to wait over a month for my packages, because they are always stuck at customs. I'd also have to pay 45 euro for both packages combined, so in this case, Amiami woudn't be a cheap option at all. If you'd sum up the prize of the figures together with shipping and customs fees, I'd think I'd roughly have to spend around 180 euro for two action figures, which is kinda overkill to my wallet orz|||

A friend of mine recommend me BigInJapan a while ago, and they were a blessing! I could undervalue my packages, use cheap SAL and my packages arrived within 9 days. Unfortunatly, I emailed BIJ yesterday if they were going to sell both Riku and Sora, and they told me they were not. BIJ is the only store I know of, who undervalues your packages if you want to. My question to you guys is, do you know other stores that undervalue packages? And if yes, can you recommend me to them?

Thanks in advance~

I've heard somewhere that SAL sometimes slips through customs because they are considered lower valued compared to EMS (in Europe).

Personally I live in South Korea, and have lived in the U.S. where I haven't really had any customs related issues before..

Orannis7 år siden#1216735Lately I've noticed that Amiami leaves items off the packing slips, which brings down the listed value. This month they left off two of the preowned items I got (of six items total) and last month they left off my Mami dakimakura, which took off a big chunk.

They've been leaving off the shipping lately, which is nice, and saves me a couple of £££. Still have to cough up a £8/£13.50 handling fee, though :( I wish I could get them to ship DHL, their handling fee is so much cheaper...

Well that wouldn't help me if the total value declared on the packing slip exceeds 22€. Coz then our custom office tells me to come pick my package up and bring the paypal invoice along so they can check how much I really paid. So here in Germany at least, it doesn't really matter what's on the packing slip. If customs stop it and want you to show the invoice, you're screwed. T_T That's why I avoid shops which don't undervalue.

From my experience, I'm from Germany, your best bet would be Anime-Export, Mandarake and Big in Japan. :) All three of them undervalue and gift-mark. They are also very helpful so just pick the one you prefer. I personally would always go with Anime-Export first, but that's just me. :)

Anime island actually just said they have Sora up for pre-order an hour ago. I'm sure Riku as well. I have dealt with them and they are great! Shipping isn't very expensive and their prices are great! You can even put 20% down if you want or pay it all off. Check Anime Island's comments on the figure's links fora direct link to the product on their site.

Happy hunting!

Supernova7 år siden#1216418BIJ is the best. Stay clear of amiami I've been getting a lot of custom charges from them even when using sal.
I think anime island either undervalues or marks the package as gift.
I can't really think of any other places. Maybe check out the European stores see if they will have them in? The prices will be higher but at least you won't have to worry about customs.

Eye on Asia has Sora but with his price there you're not going to make much of a saving even without the customs fees. Probably the same will be true of much European stores since they have factored in the cost of duty in their price.

I know that feel, bro. Do you have any friends in the US/Canada? The best thing to do would be to order them to a friends' and get them to rewrap and devalue it for you.
