"The Master of Diabolism" Wei Wuxian & Lan Wangji Set Enjoying Wine Under the Moon Ver. Deformed Figure 2 Figures Set Review

This is my first review so please bare with me. This chibi set is an official Mo Dao Zu Shi ENTRY #164895 figure released by the company QINGCANG.
Mine was bought from amiami for 5,980 JPY ($42 at the time). Weight with packaging is 1408gms and was shipped in a size 100 box, so yes it qualifies for small air parcel even with amiami's rainforest packaging! It originally released on Jan 2023 to celebrate the new year but amiami does re-stock it randomly, this is from the May re-stock.
Comes with a bonus post card.

On to the main event! Everything was packaged well. Box feels a bit big for a chibi but half of it is designed to protect the acrylic case, Which considering the outer box was heavily dented during transit, I'd say is a good thing.

First the display case. They could have gone with a plain base since the chibis will cover it up any way but I'm glad they didn't.

Everything is assembled. All the pieces are well made and detailed, no messy paint like I'm used to with trading figures. It comes with a little acrylic backdrop. The one thing they didn't include is a cushion, in the ad pictures there is a little cushion for the chibis to sit on elevating them a but over the table. This is not really included for some reason. Please note the USD port in the base, there will be a test later.
And now we place the dome and complete the figure. By the way the ribbon is optional, it's not glued or anything. Ready?

TADA! It lights up! It comes with a separate little light and batteries you can place inside the lamp. The base also lights up if you charge it up a bit hence the USD port. Word of caution. The pegs inside the lamp are VERY delicate, you need to open it up to place the light so be be very and I do mean VERY careful.

SUMMERY
- The figures are well made with a lot of attention to detail. No messy paint or quality control issues anywhere.
- At first I felt the nylon red ribbon was a bit cheap but since it's not glued on or anything who cares.
- The fact that this one comes with it's own display case is a huge plus.
- I'll probably never use the light up function but it's definitely a plus. The addition of the rose to the base elevates the whole thing.
- It looks expensive and elegant, I have defiantly paid more for way less.

It's what sold me on the figure. I don't like the ones with a lot of tiny little things since they get lost easily but this way it's all contained and can be placed outside my display case too :D
I also have this figure but I haven’t had the chance to unbox it.
It looks adorable!
