Kommentarer Increased DHL prices on AmiAmi

This really sucks. DHL was always better than EMS for me. I have Bishoujo Luna this month and Bishoujo Celestia in February, but all my other orders are small like CDs and BDs.

I'm going to see what DHL and EMS are gonna be for my December order which is a CD and 5 acrylic stands and that'll help me decide if I should switch over to Amazon JP for BDs and CDs and cancel the ones I ordered through them. I don't wanna do it, but if it's gonna be more than what Amazon JP is charging, then I'll risk getting banned.

I miss airmail so much.

Just payed for picking DHL yesterday, and glad I didn't wait a couple of days.

Yeah since it's already expensive it's not too bad when it's not for a large package I guess (would have been ~$40 over ~$34 for my order), but I am worried about any 'surprise it's a big box' figures later on.

I do surface shipping on other domestic stores though (or they do surface shipping and then ship to you) and am already sick of it. More so than waiting 1-3 additional months on top of the usual couple of months, it's like everything is backed up and taking even longer.

I try to avoid DHL if I can, as a European it's just not worth it. They charge us like crazy when it comes to taxes so I use EMS when airmail is not available, it takes longer but at least it's fairer.

Tbh I never used DHL to begin with cause it costs an arm and a leg to ship to Europe, usually close to double the price of EMS.

And here I was planning to test DHL from AmiAmi for the first time in my next order since the wait time of Surface is beginning to kill me, guess I'll have to keep suffering.

just when I thought things were ok....EMS will be my new go to I guess even though I always use DHL.

I've been shipping to Ireland via Air Small Packet, and I've had no problems. It takes slightly longer, but the massive difference in price is worth the extra week or two waiting. So this won't affect me, but it still sucks to hear for those who use it a lot.

I don't have anything ordered on AmiAmi at the moment so I am fine. I have shopped at AmiAmi in the past though.
