Her belt and her shoes have stained everything. White gloves with orange transfers that wash off into a gross yellow. I wish GSC would own up to it. Id expect this from bootlegs not official merch.

Imasock8 måneder siden#73162417I just got to open mine today after being packed away for a long time and I did not expect the paint transfer. Her belt was terrible, but luckily I noticed it before moving too much of the plastic and I was able to get it mostly cleaned up. Unfortunately, the cleanup process also seems to have scuffed some of the gold paint as well, GSC really screwed up here. I have the belt sitting in a warm water + soap bath right now. There were still minor transfers to various parts of the dress but thankfully you can't really notice them unless you're looking for them.
Strangely enough her cloak, her tiara, and her shoes (so far) show no signs of transfer despite also being painted gold. My biggest concern is once I get it cleaned up, what to do to protect the nendoroid from the transfer again since it's bound to continue coming off.
GSC needs to re-run this nendoroid with fixed paint.

I was just reorganazing the TLoZ shelve to prepare for the arrival of BotW Zelda after many many months of waiting for it to arrive and getting back to Japan because of Covid, and wow I felt like Zelda was sticky and realised something yellow on the skirt and it was the gold paint from the belt leaking, tried cleaning up, but sadly couldn’t save the skirt, is not noticeable with the belt on, but still. I also noticed that the shoes were also leaking, but the rest were ok for now, they really need to rerelease her with the paint fixed, because I doubt this will stop.

It seems that kind of material and paint does that to figures. It happened to me with Zelda but also with my Wondergirl Bishoujo from Kotobukiya. The golden details from her tshirt have the same paint

I see it's not just me with the belt paint problem... I had to store her due to house renovations and when I put her in the box I noticed her belt was sticky and the paint was coming off. I cleaned it up as best I could and tried to store her carefully, but when I took her back out, her dress is just covered in gold scuffs now. Ugh what a mess
