why does it have to be a smile? just a neutral expression would be better. right now it looks like the kind of exaggerated frown someone makes when they pout their lips
If it is trying to resemble a pose from this scene / some kind of mid-air battle pose, a frown would be more appropriate than a neutral/expressionless face. Honestly, Rin is a very expressive character, unlike Saber. It's not really her to look "neutral"..hence the frown expression they chose.
