What is it with all the nagging about replacement parts here? You lot need to learn to appreciate dicks.

CodyKatana (7 dager siden) #59004070Thanks for the concern. She sold yesterday for $900. Good thing I didn't list at market value.
Oof. Sure dawg.

VGJunky (7 dager siden) #59011744If you're doing it for the money then just say so. There's nothing wrong with that. Don't get on a soap box about market value and true collectors.
Thanks,

Also, yes. This.

Hi everyone!

I’m looking to sell mine, unopened and new.

I’m really not sure how to price her, so I’ll be taking offers.

Gunter (8 dager siden) #58981044As someone who likes, and wants this figure I like to make sure people know what are considered current prices. And personally, as someone who has sold many a figure, doll, and so on I've always used Y!J auctions (Yahoo Japan Auctions) to gauge the current price range of something. I generally will always sell at market value after all.

Gunter Questionably Amazing
As stated I referred to Yahoo Japan Auctions. If you haven't heard of the site then you may wanna learn about it cause you could save a pretty penny (Not joking, you can save so much!). I also consider this the best way to gauge a current price range for an item, because the majority of the people bidding are Japanese, and their prices are what set every other price you'll see out there. It is the closest you get to the direct population as well. I do not suggest people to go to stores like Mandarake and so on first (unless utterly clueless). Especially cause even with proxy fees you could save so much more.

With that out of the way I must disagree on what you perceive the value of the tan Dva.
Please refer to link of a screencap of the most recently sold Dva figures (all the tan version) here: puu.sh/Dr81e/71...
While this version is more costly and rarer it clearly shows she's in the range I have stated. Again screencaps, these ones are split because the tan one is currently flooding the market. Here: puu.sh/Dr8ge/85... and here: puu.sh/Dr8ic/69...

Current exchange rate (JPY to USD) according to Google. I searched this right before posting: puu.sh/Dr8s4/f0...

If you believe this outdated by all means check the dates on the right upper corner. That shows day/time the item sold. You can check this link directly, which you'll also see more ver. of this Dva (easy to tell apart cause doesn't say "brown") selling still within the price ranged mentioned: auctions.yahoo....

I fully respect the fact that someone can price something at whatever they want for whatever reason. I also am in the right to let people know that you can get her for less. If you find my reaction inappropriate then I'm sorry. As someone who likes, and wants this figure I like to make sure people know what are considered current prices. And personally, as someone who has sold many a figure, doll, and so on I've always used Y!J auctions (Yahoo Japan Auctions) to gauge the current price range of something. CodyKatana (9 dager siden) #58939305You're quoting the market prices on the recently released Sun Kissed variant (ITEM #740315), not this original production run.
I don't really have a need to sell it, but I figured if I was going to list it, I'd see how much I could get for it. If no one buys it from the listing, oh well, the market spoke and I still have it.
I'm only interested in selling it to a serious collector at this point and would entertain reasonable offers, considering shipping with insurance from within the continental United States is included in the cost.
Side note, I really hope Native does a rerun of this figure. I am not a fan of the racket that many companies seem to run on anime/manga/otaku related merch where there is a controlled scarcity of products.
Case study for this is Aniplex. An auction 2 months ago for a new sealed Blu-ray copy of Koimonogatari (NA release) gave me the push to post a listing like I have. What originally sold as a $60 Blu-ray set, sold at auction for $970 on eBay because it was the last listed new-in-box copy of an out of print set.
I get why you were compelled to check in to those prices. I think that price, no matter how ridiculous, is a deterrent from someone that wants to throw a low ball offer.
At the end of the day, I don't have to sell it. But I would like to sell it. I'd like to see her in circulation, going to the home of a serious figure collector that would love her enough to pay that price.

Sorry for super long post. I'm bad at keeping things short.

Wrong, market value is between 220$ to 350$ as per Surugaya and Mandarake

Check then out, and it's for this version of DVA, the fair skin one.

Gunter (11 dager siden) #58669624For anyone interested: you can find her on Y!J auctions being sold for around 35k JPY (about $320USD). That's the amount for the most recent auctions for this ver.. Just a look at the current market.
Sorry if this seems unnecessary. I saw a new post for sale go up and it compelled me to check her prices, cause the price was that unbelievable.
