Om Meg

Why hello there fellow collector (or future collector)! Enjoy your stay here on my profile (gotta be logged in to see entire profile ;)).
(Be warned, incoming wall of text with NO HOPES of TL;DR)

Two of my favorite things to do are collecting figures and playing video games. I enjoy any type or genre of game. Although I hate horror games... I'm just... yeah... (.______.)

I'm a huge fan of Metal Gear. It was first introduced to me in a PlayStation Underground demo disc during the PS1 days and I have loved it since. Persona is another one of my favorite series; gotta love pimpin' MC. From the art style to the music and story, it's an RPG dream. Mass Effect is one of the greatest space operas I've played. I enjoy the character interaction and character stories than I do the main story though. Especially after the whole Mass Effect 3 ending. I personally didn't like how they ended it but I thought it wasn't as bad once the "extended ending" was released via patch. Although I can understand that in most cases, it's not about the destination, it's about the journey. But ya know, why can't we have both, right?

If you want to talk about a particular figure or figures in general, post a comment or send me a PM anytime. I'm more than happy to discuss figures. Friend requests are fine too (but honestly, at least take me out to dinner before you friend me (in other words for this case, if you've done business with me or chatted/PMed me before, feel free to send me a friend request afterwards)).

If you would like me to take pictures of something I have that's rare/hard to find/ weird shit that you'd like to see from my stuff, let me know and I'll upload them.

If you REALLY want me to, I could do a quick review via video or one with pictures with text. Although for super amazing omfg figures that I own, it may be too kawaii for me to open (I lied here, I just don't have anymore fucking space so DON'T ASK!).

I have a tendency to swear/curse... a lot. Don't mind me though, it's never at anyone. Just fucking swearing in general ya know ^_^.

Regarding me as a buyer:

I have bought from more than 40 different sellers on this site that can verify I am a great buyer. (As of January 1, 2017)

Me as a seller:

All the figures I have in the "Shop" are available until I have taken them down (unless I wrote *RESERVED* or *ON HOLD* etc).

I do not collect any bootlegs nor do I sell any bootleg figures. The only exception is one figure I have that bought from a seller here which was from E2046 (I fully knew it was a bootleg and the seller confirmed it before he sold to me (he's an honest dude really and I always respoect that). The actual figure was only a garage kit sold exclusively and near impossible to find now).

I package my items incredibly well. As a collector I know the feeling when a seller or a store doesn't package a figure well. I take it very seriously and I aim to please. You can see from my 3 year 5 star feedback on MFC that I don't mess around.

I do not smoke nor have any pets.

All prices listed are as is. No added fees. I believe you should either include your "fees" into your price before you list it. Otherwise it feels like your being cheap and taxing people. Nobody likes fucking taxes.

If there are any questions on any of the items I have for sale, please feel free to ask me and I'll try to get back to you within 24 hours.

May the flames guide your way.

If it's not the best price everywhere then YOUR MATTRESS IS FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! (this is an ad joke, I'll see myself out!)

** Please have a look at My Shop for figures that I am selling!

NOTE to Sellers: answer your PMs. If it's not available or there's an issue that comes up, or you changed your mind and don't want to sell, etc; speak up and reply back with an answer when you are, at the very least, able to. Don't leave people hanging with no response. Also please be 100% prepared with the costs BEFORE you tell the buyer the cost so that you avoid unexpected "additional fees" and make buyers unhappy. It's worth waiting another day or two to find out the exact cost. Don't keep your buyer in the dark. Or to make it easy, create a standard shipping price for your region.
- Most important note: if you have someone ahead of another person when selling an item, obviously it should be first come first serve. Tell the other person it is on hold for another person or tell them it's not available anymore or if the destination that you are trying to send it to is inconvenient for you, just SAY SO.
Additionally, if you want to, you could tell the second, third, etc person that messaged you about an item that they are next if the first person decides they ended up not wanting the figure/item.
- If you're looking to sell an item quickly and you have multiple responders, SET A TIME FRAME. Give the first person (for example) 48 hours to send payment to your Paypal and explain that the opportunity to buy the item will go to someone else if they don't pay within that time. Thus keeping it organized and professional.

NOTE to BUYERS: Do not be an asshat! Wait a few days for a response in case they got busy with family, work, etc. If they don't respond for a while, assume all is lost and move on. DO NOT be impatient, you are talking to fellow COLLECTORS like yourself! So don't be rude, and show some respect. Keep your seller informed, because they don't like to be in the dark either.
After inquiring about a figure you MIGHT buy, if you decide to back out then please let the seller know right away.
MOST Important note: I STRONGLY advise against paying immediately for a pre-order (pertaining to user to user or peer to peer; not talking buying from businesses unless they are shady). Make sure the seller can verify with you that they have changed the address to you with the provided tracking number as proof or have the invoice sent directly to your designated email for payment; so that you can verify shipping conditions.
Once the deadline of about 45 days have passed (For Paypal users; though it may have changed since the new Paypal Credit) there will be complications. I have experienced this even with the long time members here. Lucky for me, I was able to dispute both of them and win with plenty of evidence. Best to avoid the trouble and play it safe.

********------------------- Teach me, Mr. MeepMoop! ---------------------********* (Reference anyone?)
- When storing your figures, be sure to keep the humidity low or else inside the box will build up sweat and may do damage over time. Best if stored in a relatively cool environment.
- Clean your figures every now and then. Like taking a shower often or else your co-workers/big wigs/supervisors, etc will say you smell like dump and should go home. (inb4 i works @ home)
- PVC residue/particles causes cancer YAY! (though of course there are many other things that cause cancer in everyday life but meh...)! Keep your environment well ventilated and/or maybe air out the figure in an open space for a while after you open it I did some digging around and I found that PVC does not cause cancer unless you eat it or BURN IT WITH FIRE and start huffing the BBQ'd plastic figure. This issue is still currently in debate. I will seek further research / studies on the matter. But to avoid that heavy plastic smell, I would still keep the room ventilated at least.
- Consider wearing gloves and maybe a mask (depends on what you're putting together / making) when building your figures, like cutting / building Gundam parts. Or just wash your hands afterwards before going NOM NOM NOM on food or sucking on your fingers(Unless you like sniffing and eating plasticizers, then by all means enjoy some tasty cancer!)
- When you buy a used figure... it could have been... ANYWHERE...! In someone's bum, someone eating some greasy ass chicken strips on a boat and touching figures, someone that doesn't wash their hands like a caveman and then play with their figures and then proceed to sell their figures in "Like-new, FANTASTIC ASS SMELLING condition" etc. Lysol wipe that pls.

[Obviously some satire and exaggeration was used so don't take too seriously but take seriously at the same time. Serious within a serious seriouscept... I give up.]

- Random tip for leaning issues or fixing poses: you can heat up the part that is not placed correctly or leaning (i.e. arm, leg, etc) with a hairdryer or hot water, move that part into place, then hold it there until it cools off (I usually run it under cold water) then put it in the freezer for 3 minutes (info found from various places; this in particular was on reddit).
- For issues with (sticky) plasticizers, you can put the item/figure into a soapy water bath (use a huge ass bowl or something).
