    It actually happens very, very rarely compared to the thousands of satsifying orders we fulfill throughout the year.
    But of course, unhappy customers will be more eager to post their disappointing experience online. Which is totally understandable.

    What you can always count on though is that we will NEVER ignore a complaint made to our customer service and we will ALWAYS work out a solution with you.

    If there is anything not satisfying about your order, just shoot us a message and we will usually get back to you within 24 hours on a weekday.

    I made 4 purchases, between $190-310 usd each. The dates were 01/25 then 26, 27 and 28. I received an email for each individual order, stating that it was delayed, so it couldn't be shipped yet.

    Is there some issue going on?

    Has anyone ever bought point cards from them? How well did it work? I can't use my credit card on jp iTunes so I'd need to get jp cards from somewhere but I dunno if they're the best solution for it?

    I hope you have received your orders by now and are happy with them. :)
    We had a short period of logistical delays in late January. It rarely, but sometimes happens and we are sorry for that.

    The delay emails are sent out automatically, if the processing time exceeds three days. Sometimes there can also be a weekend between it. They usually do not mean anything to worry about. Should there ever be a serious issue with your order, you can always rely on us contacting you directly about it. :)

    We do have some of the best prices online for japanese pre-paid cards and you get the code within about 24 hours.
    Orders placed during the week, usually get processed the quickest.

    When Solaris Japan ship your stuff, do they only include "Friendly invoice" in the package or they put original invoice as well?

    My item is currently being held by Malaysian custom, I need access to both the original and friendly invoice of my order but I cannot retrieve it from My Account.

    The error says "We're sorry, but something went wrong. If you are the application owner check the logs for more information."

    There will always only be one invoice included with every order.
    So if you chose the "friendly invoice" it will be the only one included.

    The worst experience ever with a Japanese online shop and I'm not a begginer.

    I order a lot since years with a lot of shop like plamoya, mandarake, nippon yassan, play-asia, ebay... I'm really an experienced buyer.

    What I can say about Solaris? Stay away from them!

    -15 days to send an order.
    -Errors with the shipping method.
    -They use only SAL for regular invoice, but SAL is suspended since months in Europe but they don't know that apparently...

    After 10 mails with the customer service I realized they don't know shit about international shipping.

    In the same time they need to send my order, Nippon Yassan and Plamoya had already delivered me (I ordered the same day with the same shipping method).

    The customer service is friendly but they are very slow to manage your order and most of all, they are totally incompetent in matter of shipping.

    Stay away from them if you don't order with the Express shipping method (But custom fee 100% guaranted). You are warned.

    I can only speak to my experience with them as a US-based customer, which I realize does not have the same problems with SAL, but I've ordered from Solaris a couple times now with no issues. On my most recent order I used standard shipping instead of express for my most recent order, requested photos before shipment, and even though it was a fairly small order (5k-ish yen), they took very thorough photos and the turnaround between ordering on a Saturday and shipment was only four days total.

    Sorry you've having such a hard time with them, but just wanted to chime in with my own experience since I personally would recommend Solaris (at least to anyone in the US), if the item is a good price (which was the case for me, I found my figure a good 1-2k cheaper on Solaris than on Mandarake or Amiami preowned). Hope your problems get resolved!

    I'm sorry too to hear about your poor experience. I've only ordered from Solaris twice, once using EMS and once unregistered Sal (not sure if they offer that to all countries, but there is no reg sal where I am), and both times everything went smoothly. I do wish they would expand the shipping options they offer - the only options I can choose from with them is EMS, unregistered Sal or seamail - no airmail, no sal parcel etc. - so often because of that I will try to find what I want on Amiami's preowned section but I was happy with Solaris both times I bought from them.

I purchased something yesterday and they deducted my money and order was placed, but the charge disappeared and the money was returned to my account. The order is still active as “paid” but the money is still in my account. There’s also no refund transaction, everything just vanished lol

    Anyone know if this is a norm for them? And the charge will eventually reappear?
